Location

Hotel Indigo Bangkok is located near Lumphini Park, about a half-hour walk or a 20-minute BTS Skytrain trip to the gay streets of Silom 2 and Silom 4. The shopping district of Siam is about a 15-minute walk away, which includes several of Thailand’s best mega-malls like CentralWorld and Siam Paragon.

Style & Design

The style is very contemporary and cool, with a minimalist edge. Rooms feature a mostly neutral color palette, with bright touches of color here and there and pieces that reference traditional Thai aesthetics. The exception to this is the Royal Suite, whose decor is considerably more dramatic and over-the-top. For those who like their design extravagant, this large suite includes details like mirrored walls and ceilings, floor-to-ceiling paintings, and golden dragon-shaped taps.

Facilities

The hotel features an airy and pleasant gym that overlooks the city skyline. As well as facing the sunrise for a particularly inspiring morning workout, it is extremely well-equipped, with cardio machines, free weights, barbells, racks, and strength training machines. The rooftop infinity pool is larger than many others in the city, meaning you can actually get a few laps in while you take in the view. Just above it, you’ll find a swanky rooftop bar and CHAR Restaurant, serving freshly grilled dishes in a contemporary, view-filled environment. Downstairs, Metro On Wireless restaurant and cafe has a more chilled-out vibe but equally tasty food.

Rooms

Most of the rooms are fairly spacious and have huge floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows with panoramic views. All of them have good-quality amenities, including a sofa, fridge minibar, bathrobes, and heavenly beds. Every room has at least a small balcony, with some having a larger terrace. The bathrooms are spacious and beautifully presented, with large rain showers and Panpuri toiletries. At the higher categories, you can expect luxury touches like gorgeous freestanding bathtubs and extra-large beds. These rooms are also larger and have the best city views.
