Gay Popular

Many gay travelers to Bangkok choose to stay in or around the Silom gayborhood as that’s where they’ll play and party. However, just as many travelers prefer to be a little further away from that action and more centrally located to everything else.

Pullman Bangkok King Power is the perfect option.

This 5-star luxury lifestyle hotel is ideally located near the main Phaya Thai transport terminal. Built in 2007, it’s a relatively new hotel and boasts one of Bangkok’s largest outdoor swimming pools.

It’s an excellent choice for gay travelers as gay bars, clubs, and saunas are within a few kilometers of the hotel in every direction. Everything else a tourist would want is also within easy reach.

With its convenient location, modern aesthetic, and duty-free shopping on its doorstep, it’s everything a gay traveler could ask for.

With modern rooms, 3 restaurants and 2 bars, a pool, gym, and spa, guests may never want to leave the resort-style property.

Why We Love It

♥ One of Bangkok’s largest pools
♥ 5-star luxury
♥ 5 minutes walk from transport

Location

Pullman Bangkok King Power is conveniently located in the Phaya Thai district, only a 5-minute walk from the Phaya Thai BTS/Ferry/Skytrain interchange. From there, you can get to most places in Bangkok without spending hours of your holiday time on travel. For gay travelers, it’s conveniently located only a few kilometers from the gay bars, clubs, and saunas in Silom, Suttisan, and Saphan Kwai. A shopping mall, hospital, running park, restaurants, cafes, and rooftop bars are within a few minutes' walk. Pullman King Power is exceptionally well located. In addition to the gay areas, it’s an equal distance to many tourist locations, with Chatachuk Weekend Market, China Town, and Khao San Road only a tuk-tuk ride away. An added benefit of staying at the Pullman King Power is that King Power is one of the world's most well-known duty-free stores. Electronics, cologne, and jewelry are much cheaper when purchased duty-free, so take the opportunity to stock up — if you’ve traveled internationally.

Get Married at Pullman Bangkok King Power

Choosing a hotel in Bangkok for your wedding can be challenging, as there are so many options. Pullman King Power makes that decision easy.

If you’re inviting people to your wedding who have never been to Bangkok before, the Pullman King Power’s central location and 5-minute walk to a central transport hub makes logical sense.

There are two ballrooms at Pullman King Power, which can cater to a range of guest numbers from 80 up to 700. The ceremony can be followed immediately by the reception without needing to change venues.

The wedding planners at Pullman King Power have experience arranging gay weddings. Give them your vision, collaborate together, and you’ll get the event that you’ve dreamed of.

Catering for your guests is a choice of an international buffet, a set Chinese meal, or a cocktail and canapés option.

If you purchase one of the hotel’s wedding packages, it includes a room upgrade to a suite and one complimentary room service meal. As the groom and groom may not get to eat during the reception (too many photograph commitments), this will be a welcome inclusion.

Wedding after-parties are all the rage, and Pullman King Power has that covered too. You can get exclusive use of the Glen Bar, which is located in the lobby and can entertain 110 guests.
