Bangkok’s class gay sauna, if that is possible, Chakran Sauna is Babylon’s main competition and is located in Ari Soi 4, Bangkok. Offering onsen on that rooftop allows you to see skyscrapers in all directions. Also wet steam room, a dry sauna, gym, restaurant, bar, free WiFi, and plenty of lounge space with mattresses for people to laze around (and intentionally put out for group activities under the sky).

“Go only if you are young and have a good body” is some of the reviews you see on TripAdvisor, now you know what to expect. Most guests review the sauna well for its cleanliness. The sauna is open until late on Friday and Saturday nights. However, peak times are still 5 pm – 9 pm weeknights and at weekends from 3 pm. Crowd: Chakran Sauna Bangkok has a mainly Asian crowd, being popular with local Thais and Asian visitors.

How to get there

This popular gay sauna is located in Phaya Thai (Pa-Ya-Tai) district, it is very close to the BTS Ari (R-Ree) Skytrain Station. However, it is not near MRT Station. Recommended transport either Skytrain or a taxi.

Taxi: Ask taxi drivers for Sam Sen Nai Soi 7, near BTS Ari (R-Ree) Skytrain Station. Sam Sen Nai Soi 7 has its own name called Ari, The sauna is located on Ari Soi 4 (R-Ree Soy 4).

BTS Skytrain: The closest station is Ari (Station number N5). Take Exit 3 and walk towards the intersection. At the intersection take a left on Phaholyothin (Pa-Hon-Yo-Tin) Soi 7 (which is Ari), continue walking for about 5 minutes. Turn left onto Ari Soi 4, Chakran Sauna will be located on the right-hand side of the street.

MRT Underground: The nearest is Kamphaeng Phet Station then finish by taxi.
