Location

Gastronomers Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 20 is in the ideal location for you. Sukhumvit Road is the most multicultural strip in Bangkok; whatever cuisine you want to enjoy, you’ll find it there. Sukhumvit Soi 20 is conveniently located 1 km from Korea Town to the west and 1 km from Japan Town to the east. In between, you’ll find plenty of Indian and Middle Eastern options. The main BTS line of Bangkok runs right along Sukhumvit Road, and your hotel is halfway between Asok and Phrom Phong, so take your pick. Shoppers, you have two mega-malls within walking distance of your hotel. Terminal 21 is next to Asok BTS, and Emsphere (the home of the Songkran G-Circuit parties) is only 650 meters away, around a 10-minute walk. The gayborhood of Silom, with its famous Soi 2, the party street, and Soi 4, the bar hop and people watch street are just under 6 km away from the hotel. It’s also only 40 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport (if the traffic’s on your side), making it convenient for day or night arrivals and departures.

Facilities

City Beach on the 9th floor is an oasis in the heart of the city. It has an infinity pool with extended operating hours from 6 am to 10 pm, there’s a pool bar, and a separate kids’ area. Stay for the sunset, then sample some light meals at the poolside undercover dining area atop a glass skylight. Also on the 9th floor is Inbalance Fitness, featuring an array of advanced technological equipment. It operates the same hours as the pool. Sukhumvit Road is known as ‘sky bar central’, and the award-winning one at Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 20 is among the best. It’s on floor 26, with views of the stars and the twinkling city lights. On Fridays and Saturday nights, DJs play from 8 pm until 11 pm. While you’re there, sample its signature dishes: Mediterranean Pizzas and Crab Mayonnaise Bruschetta. Food Exchange is a unique dining experience. It’s a modern interpretation of traditional food markets from around the world, where guests can interact with the chefs. There’s a breakfast and lunch buffet daily, and if you love crab, the Saturday night crab buffet is for you. PantaRei Restaurant and Bar on the 8th floor is the hotel’s Thai restaurant, where familiar yet innovative tasting menus are on offer. You can dine à la carte or choose from a 3 or 4-course set menu. In keeping with the neighbourhood’s international dining theme, Peshwa Maharashtrian offers elevated Indian food sourced from six regions: Marathwada, Vidarbha, Konkan, Khandeshi, Dakshin Maharashtra, and Paschim Maharashtra. In the lobby is the GourmetBar, which is a rustic style with terrace seating, and you must try the signature Epic Burger and the Cheese Sampler board. There isn’t an on-site spa or wellness center, it’s unnecessary, as Sukhumvit has some of the best massage shops in the city, including the Infinity Spa directly opposite the hotel.

Novotel always provides extra means of comfort in their rooms, and at Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit, that comes in the form of day beds and massive windows that let in lots of natural light during the day and sparkling city lights at night. The rooms are contemporary in design with local artwork on the walls. The superior rooms start at 30 sqm, and if that’s not enough space, upgrade to the executive suite at 45 sqm. Speaking of upgrades, as Novotel is an Accor property, why not burn some All points and bump yourself up to the executive floors 23 and up. Get Married at Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 20
