Location

Kata Beach is one of Phuket’s most popular spots, offering a quieter and more laid-back alternative to Patong and Karon. The resort is located atop a hill, offering beautiful views of (and easy access to) Kata Beach, while still feeling a bit more secluded than some of the other hotels in Kata. You can walk to Kata Noi Beach within a 15-minutes. If you feel like partying, both Kata and Karon have lively nightlife. If you really feel like partying, Patong’s famously gay Paradise Complex is just a 25-minute taxi ride away.

Style & Design

SIS stands for “Stay In Style”, so everything in the resort is designed for optimum aesthetic points. The design is futuristic and truly unique, contrasting rounded shapes with sharp angles and modern materials with the beautiful natural surroundings of the hotel. Long story short, it’s an Instagrammer’s paradise.

Facilities

The SIS Kata Phuket has two pools, one of which overlooks Kata Beach and the Andaman sea in spectacular fashion. The 24-hour gym is large and well-equipped with a range of cardio and weights machines, and the spa offers excellent relaxation treatments. Dawn To Dusk restaurant offers delicious food throughout the day in an elegant setting, while the Twilight Sky dining terrace is the place to go for dinner with a view. The SIS also features a cool cafe, swanky neon-lit bar, pool bar, and a health bar serving fresh juices and salads.

Rooms

The SIS has 124 rooms in a variety of sizes and styles. Even the most basic rooms come with impeccable design and good amenities, but we recommend upgrading to a room with a view. You can choose from garden, pool, or ocean view, with the latter being stunning thanks to the hotel’s elevated position. All rooms come with a balcony, but it’s the ones with the private balcony jacuzzi you want.
