One of the first resorts in Patong the Holiday Inn Resort Phuket combines quality international standards, professional staff, and great hospitality. The advantage of getting in early, Holiday Inn has one of the best positions in Patong and also one of the most established tropical gardens.

While Holiday Inn is often famous as a family-friendly resort but this resort has managed to cater to both families and romantic couples. With 4 huge pools, the hotel has kept an adult only area and hotel wing completely kids free.

Location

The resort is located a short walk from Patong Beach and only 10 minutes from Bangla Road, Phuket’s most infamous nightlife hub. Gay visitors, however, will be more interested in the Paradise Complex a few streets behind Bangla Road, which is Phuket’s largest gay nightlife hub. This location makes Holiday Inn Resort Patong perfect for enjoying Phuket’s party vibes without having to lose sleep.

Style & Design

The resort is beautifully decorated in a blend of contemporary and traditional styles. The rooms feature sleek modern interiors in a palette of greys and blues, while the gardens and pool are based on Thai architecture and folklore, as seen with the adorable elephant statues dotted throughout.

Facilities

The large outdoor pool sits at the center of the resort, and includes a stylish swim-up bar so you never have to get out of the water. There is a very good on-site gym with everything you need to keep up your fitness routine, and the Tea Tree Spa is perfect for recuperating after a strenuous workout (or a hectic night out). Phuket is famed for its seafood and, at Charm Thai restaurant, you can have some of the freshest and most delicious catches on the island. The buffet at Sea Breeze is exceptionally generous and tasty, and there is also an Italian restaurant serving woodfired pizzas and fresh pasta, as well as an excellent steakhouse.

Rooms

All of the rooms are large, stylish, and comfortable, with extra-large double beds to soothe away the worst of hangovers. As with many Holiday Inn resorts, there is an adults-only wing offering a more quiet, grown-up vibe. Go for a room with direct pool access if you want to maximize your pool time, and book one of the studios for great perks like an Illy coffee machine and complimentary minibar. The villa offers the highest level of comfort for a couple, with tech add-ons like a DVD player and iPod docking station.
