The Z Hotel Shoreditch

This hotel brings Z Hotel’s usual promise of compact, well-designed rooms to London’s East End. It is located a short distance from Old Street roundabout, London’s tech hub and home to a vibrant nightlife, within walking distance of all the art, shopping, drinking, and eating Shoreditch has to offer.

Rooms come in either Queen or Double, with the former having larger beds and slightly more room. You can choose between an inside room or one with a window. All of these are very reasonably priced for what they offer: for example if you are happy to sacrifice a window and some floorspace, the Inside Double offers excellent value, with rates starting at £50. There is a Family Room, but it cannot be booked by four adults.

Despite the small size, every room is perfectly designed for a comfy stay. You get a fantastic bed, powerful shower, HD TV, plenty of storage for clothes, and tea and coffee making facilities. The restaurant serves a good buffet breakfast and fresh light bites throughout the day, and the complimentary wine and cheese evenings in the lobby are a lovely touch.
