Smart Hyde Park Inn Hostel

This hostel is simple and on the old-fashioned side, but the rates are always cheap and the location is convenient for public transport links. The beds in the large dorm rooms all have storage drawers as well as privacy curtains and individual plug sockets, which is always a welcome addition. There are no private rooms per se, but there are 4 and 6-person dorm rooms that can be ideal for groups of friends who want a whole room to themselves.

Smart Hyde Park Inn Hostel is located a short walk away from Hyde Park, and a couple of minutes away from Bayswater Underground Station. There are also various other Underground stations in a 5-minute radius from the hostel, meaning you have easy access to the whole of London. This a good location for shopping and for enjoying the park (which is especially pleasant in the summer). The closest gay nightlife is in Soho, a 20-minute tube ride away on the Central Line, which is open 24 h on Fridays and Saturdays.
