The resort has two adult outdoor pools, including a jaw-dropping Island View pool from which you can watch the sunrise and sunset. You also get direct beachfront access to Wang Kaew Beach, in case you prefer sunning in the sand.

The hotel’s main all-day restaurant has a great position overlooking the Gulf of Thailand, so you can start your day with a tasty breakfast and a world-class view. The Fish Bar serves fresh authentic Thai seafood dishes, while the cafe and pool bar keep the refreshments coming throughout the day.

Mariott Rayong is located about an hour and a half’s drive away from Pattaya. This hotel is a great choice if you want a Thai beach holiday without going too far from Bangkok, and are interested in checking out Dongtan beach for a day trip. As long as you’re ok with skipping Central Pattaya nightlife (or are happy to pay for a long taxi), Marriott Rayong makes for an exceptional stay.
