Matina Hotel is located in the middle of Chora, but you wouldn’t tell by the peaceful atmosphere of the place. With a beautiful, colorful garden, pleasant outdoor spaces, and a friendly family vibe, Matina manages to be in the middle of everything while feeling like a quiet little oasis.

The interiors are considerably simpler: the hotel offers single, double, triple, and quadruple rooms, all comfortable and no-frills. The semi-basement quadruple room offers particularly good value, especially if you’re not planning on spending much of the day in your room. The Little Venice waterfront with all its gay nightlife is only a 5-minute walk away.

It is a traditional family hotel from the 50s, but it has been recently renovated to modern standards. The rooms are a bit small and the decor is basic, but the beds are comfortable and everything is well-maintained. The bathrooms feel brand new – try one of the rooms with a jacuzzi bathtub.
