Carbonaki Hotel is a family-run boutique hotel located more or less in the middle of Mykonos town. This places it within walking distance of the gay bars and clubs in town, but also of both bus stations with transport links to the other island beaches. At54 Club is just five minutes away, which is handy when getting back from a big night out. So, it's no surprise that Carbonaki is one of the most booked gay hotels in Mykonos.
The rooms are on the smaller side, but are very attractive and well-maintained. Go for a Superior room if you want a private balcony – alternatively, the shared courtyard terraces are charming.
The hotel’s central feature is a large outdoor hot tub, which is surrounded by a pool. There is a bar, but the central location also means you are very close to some excellent bars and restaurants. The whole place has a very relaxed, laid-back vibe, and the staff are lovely.
