Location

This Holiday Inn Express benefits from an exceptional location in Clarke Quay, famous for being Singapore’s main hub for nightlife and restaurants. Chinatown, with its exciting mix of temples, traditional shops, and authentic Chinese eateries, is just a short walk away. As for gay nightlife, Neil’s Road the city’s gay party hub is a 20-minute walk from the hotel or a 5-minute taxi ride. There are two MRT stations under a 10-minute walk away: Clarke Quay (Northeast Line) and Chinatown (Downtown Line). These provide convenient and rapid links to city highlights like Marina Sand and Orchard Road.

Style & Design

By combining textures like glass, wood, and marble with an abundance of lush green plants, the hotel reflects Singapore’s distinctive eco-friendly, modern style. Add in some touches of bright color and clean, bold lines, and the result is a bright, dynamic design which feels both modern and timeless.

Facilities

The hotel rooftop features a gorgeous glass-fronted swimming pool, as well as a jacuzzi. Both come with great views over the city and are also perfect for a little Insta photo op. There are also a few deck chairs available for those who like to lounge in the sun. The rooftop also houses the hotel gym, which is airy and pleasant. That said, the range of machines is limited, with only cardio machines and no strength equipment. A varied and delicious buffet breakfast is served, free of charge, every morning.

Rooms

The rooms are on the smaller side (as is common in the tightly-packed metropolis of Singapore), but the layout is so well designed that you don’t feel cramped. Large floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of light, while comfy beds and blackout curtains guarantee a good night’s sleep. Amenities include a fridge, coffee maker, safe, ipod docking station, and flat-screen TV with a wide range of channels.
