There is not currently an in-house restaurant (one is under construction at the time of writing), but instead the resort has a convenient arrangement with local eateries. You can text your food order to a Whatsapp number and your choice of Thai or international dishes will be delivered to your room within a half-hour. There is a spa on-site offering a range of professional massage and wellness treatments, as well as a swimming pool with a clothing optional policy. The pool is open 24 hour to hotel residents and has a lively bar. This is where Alpha hosts its popular gay parties – the hotel is at forefront of the island’s gay scene, having been an active part of its recent Pride celebrations. Other great perks include a Whatsapp group chat for hotel guests, which makes socializing on the island extremely easy, and a range of gay content available on all the TVs. The staff are also trained to book tours and activities throughout the island, so you can leave all the planning during your Koh Samui stay to them.
