Many of them make use of and draw from Northern Thailand’s Lanna heritage in their decor, resulting in some truly beautiful resorts. As a small city, many of them are located inside the walls of the Old Town or along the riverfront, which are perfect areas if you’re in town to explore temples and discover Lanna culture.
