St Martins Lane London is a 3-minute walk to the West End theaters, Trafalgar Square Monument, and Leicester Square tube station. It’s just half a mile to the Thames River. The gayborhood of Soho is just under a mile away, making it the ideal location for gay partiers. London Heathrow Airport is just over an hour by car and only 2 miles from St Pancras Station for those going to or coming from Paris by Eurostar.

The food and beverage outlets set St Martins Lane London apart from its competition. Starting with EllaMia, which brings a touch of LA’s coffee culture to the center of London, then there’s The Restaurant, which serves breakfast until 10:30 a.m. It reopens for lunch and dinner with a French menu. We love the bottomless drinks brunch with special guest DJs every Saturday and Sunday. It doesn’t end there. A London stay isn’t complete without experiencing an English Afternoon Tea, and Tea and Tales offers one of the best, daily between 12 pm and 4 pm. I felt super welcome during my entire stay. The hotel is a welcoming and friendly sanctuary for all travelers. A massive benefit is the local geography: KU Bar is super close by for a casual drink, and hitting Feel It on a Friday is just a short, easy commute, making it a great club night layout for visitors looking to dive into London’s LGBTQ+ scene.

The lobby has a very stylish, high-concept look, and the speakeasy-style bar is an exceptional spot for cocktails and atmosphere. The food and drinks are great, and the rooms offer a classic, straightforward city layout that serves as a highly functional, reliable base for theater-goers.

I felt fully welcomed and safe during my stay. The hotel is completely friendly to all travelers, and it was lovely to see that several members of the hotel staff are also part of the community, which instantly adds an extra layer of comfort and authentic connection.
