You’d think that as a gay, playful paradise, Palm Springs would have saunas and bathhouses on every street corner. That’s actually not the case.
Palm Springs does it one step better. It had the most clothing-optional men-only gay resorts in the nation, and many of them offer day passes. This means that the opportunity for guests to make even more new friends greatly increases.
As a bonus, if day guests meet someone they’d like to spend the night with, they can just book a room there. Some even deduct the day pass cost from the room rate.
Most clothing-optional resorts are in the same few blocks, 1 mile south of downtown Palm Springs. There is one to the north and another in the second gayborhood of Cathedral City to the south.
