Location

Despite being close to all the action, the hotel is far enough removed from the main strip that you can actually get some peace and quiet at night. This Holiday Inn Express is extremely well located in busy, bustling Pattaya. It’s a 15-minute walk to both the beach and the gay nightlife hubs of Sunee Plaza and Boyztown, meaning you are never far from a gay bar. To get to the Dongtan gay beach area and the Jomtien complex, where the area’s more upscale gay bars are grouped, a songthaew or a bus will take about 15 minutes and cost you 10 TBH.

Style & Design

A nautical theme runs throughout the hotel. The colors are mostly neutral white, with touches of deep blue throughout the whole hotel. In the rooms, you will find large colorful murals of seaside scenes and modern grey furnishings. The combination is simple, yet effective, providing a soothing contrast to the loud and party-filled streets outside.

Facilities

The hotel has a small but pleasant rooftop pool for you to soak up the sun, as well as a good fitness suite with cardio machines and free weights. The complimentary buffet breakfast offers good value for money, consisting mainly of cold options like fruit and pastries, with a few hot dishes to round things off. The outdoor terrace of the breakfast room makes for a particularly lovely place to start your day.
