Zannier Hotels Phum Baitang

This stunning resort sits a little distance away from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap, while still being no more than a 20-minute drive from Angkor and the nightlife. With its lush gardens and wooden villas on stilts, the whole place feels like a little slice of tropical paradise. Each villa comes with either a terrace or a private plunge pool, and all have indulgent jacuzzi tubs and gorgeously understated modern Khmer design. There are two restaurants, including an authentic Cambodian one using locally sourced ingredients - the rice is from the surrounding paddies. Two bars and a spa, all impossibly beautiful, round off the facilities.
