Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort is a sprawling 4.5-star resort on Laem Thong, featuring over 200 well-appointed bungalows and villas which blend traditional Thai elements like thatched roofs with clean, modern design.

All the rooms are fairly spacious, but the Deluxe bungalows and the suites are especially generous. Unlike many resorts in the area which only offer accommodations for couples, Phi Phi Island Village has a small number of Family Bungalows that are perfect for small groups of friends. If you are, however, looking for a romantic getaway, you could do worse than the secluded hillside pool villa with its incredible views of the bay.

Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort can organize activities throughout the area and even has its own PADI-certified diving center. If you just want to relax, you will enjoy the huge central pool or one of the smaller infinity ones, as well as the direct private beachfront access. Massages and other wellness treatments are offered in a serene beach pavillion, and several bars and cafes throughout the resort will keep you refreshed.

Phi Phi Island Village is committed to sustainable tourism, running several conservation and education initiatives to preserve the island’s marine life. These include beach cleanups, mangrove plantings, and an on-site Marine Center to teach guests about local species.

Location

SAii Phi Phi Island Village is on the northeast corner of Phi Phi Island on an 800m private stretch of white sandy beach. It’s a peaceful and secluded, absolute beachfront resort. Loh Lana Bay is a 15-minute walk west, and to get to Ton Sai Beach — the island's main hub — the hotel can arrange a longtail boat transfer. The hotel has everything you could possibly want, so it’s the ideal flop-and-drop destination. There’s no need to venture away if you don’t want to. SAii Phi Phi Island Village is accessed by daily scheduled shared resort transfers from Phuket Royal Marina. The trip takes 90 minutes and the rate is THB 1,800++ per person, per way and includes hotel or airport land pickup. Private transfers can be arranged by the resort if preferred, and depart per your timetable for THB 19,000++ per boat per way.

Style & Design

SAii Phi Phi Island Village is a traditional Thai-style resort with modern touches. It’s set amid 70 acres of coconut palm plantations with the beach on the resort’s east side. It has a distinct barefoot-luxury vibe throughout. The villas have traditional Thai-style roofs made with sustainable materials, giving the resort a classic fishing village feel. The winding pathways, coconut groves, and tropical gardens mimic the natural curves of the Phi Phi archipelago. The interiors feature natural materials, like teak wood, bamboo, rattan, and stone. The fittings are from local artisans, expect handwoven textiles, ceramic pottery, and carved wooden decor.. The color palette is made up of earthy tones (sand, aqua, terracotta) with pops of turquoise and coral for a beachy feel.

Rooms

The first category is the bungalows. They have a rich, wooden facade and traditional thatched roofs. Choose from a garden or sea view. The next category is the villas. These newly renovated rooms have high ceilings and a nautical theme. Guests looking for that toes-in-the-sand experience should choose the beachfront junior suite, open your door, and the beach beckons. How about a private plunge pool? That’s an option too, in one of the hillside villas, choose from jungle or sea view. Traveling in a small group? The 2-bedroom bungalows or oceanview villas are made just for you. The rooms have plush furnishings, terraces or balconies, bathtubs or rain showers.
