There is not a direct gay scene in Koh Phi Phi but nightlife here is some of the wildest in Thailand, so you are guaranteed a good time.

Upon first inspection, you won’t find anything too different from the buckets, beers, and beach parties of other classic Thai party destinations like Phuket and Koh Phangan. But look a bit closer and you will find an interesting variety of ambiances and styles among the island’s bars and clubs.

Wild bars include Slinky and Stones right on Loh Dalum beachfront. But there are laid-back rock’n’roll hippie shacks like Rolling Stoned bar, classic beach party bars like Carlito’s, and the sometimes disturbing yet endlessly entertaining Reggae Bar, which offers drunk revelers the chance to try out some entirely unexperienced Thai Boxing.

You can party until the sun rises (and beyond) in one spot, or you can easily bar hop since everything is just a short walk away.
