La Santa Maria is a traditional independent hotel, offering spacious, no-frills rooms with great beds and large private terraces. The decor is nothing fancy, but the building’s modernist facade is a great example of classic Sitges architecture. There’s a nice little Spanish restaurant downstairs serving authentic local fare, and the breakfast is very good. The location is ideal, right on the promenade and a stone’s throw away from the gay beach and bars.
