This Ibis Budget sits next to the Ibis Hotel and offers a more bare-bones hotel experience. The rooms feature Ibis Budget’s award-winning “Cocoon” design, which packs in all the requirements of a good night’s sleep into a tight space without sacrificing comfort. Despite their small size, the rooms are all bright, airy, and relaxing.
There is even a larger balcony room available, which overlooks Kurfürstendamm and the KaDeWe department store. There is also a series of “MyRoom” themed rooms designed by the employees, featuring everything from art materials to relaxing murals to an actual climbing wall.
As usual with Ibis budget, the facilities are more basic than you would find in its sister brands. The breakfast here is very basic (no hot options), and there is no bar. Overall, this is perfect for two people looking for a comfortable, no-frills base from which to explore gay Berlin.
