Korea's Gay Party Street in Itaewon

Homo Hill is a small pedestrian street dotted with shops, cafes, restaurants, and gay clubs & bars. It has some great bars overlooking the street, so great for beer, conversation, people-watching, and of course, dancing. Seoul’s gay scene is divided into two main areas, Jongro-3 and the most popular gay scene, Homo Hill in Itaewon.

The gayest visitors become familiar with Homo Hill for the best gay bars with drag shows in a convenient location. Homo Hill is easy to find as it’s well known for the city’s red-light district neighborhood where to enjoy your gay scene in Seoul. The gay street, Homo Hill opens on Thu to Sun and normally gets busy around 1 am onward.

Seoul’s most popular gay bars in Homo Hill are Queen, which is popular for a young, attractive crowd and gay scene weekend madness, Trance, and Why Not Bar. Not on Homo Hill, but nearby fun gay bars in Itaewon are Club Pulse and GRAY Club.

The gay street, Homo Hill opens on Thu to Sun and normally gets busy around 1 am onward.

Music: The street of the gay scene in Homo Hill has a great collection of international DJ, current international pops (Top 40) and last but not least is K pop.

Crowd: Night out in this street is popular with both locals and international visitors from every country all over the world wandering and cruising around.

Dress: The heart of gay town in Itaewon is very casual. Tank-top and shot are totally great to go for Seoul gay scene in Homo Hill.

How to get there

Taxi: Ask for Homo Hill in Itaewon-dong, the street is located in the city centre and well known for cafes’, restaurants, and gay bars.

Subway: Itaewon underground station (Line 6), take exit 3 and about 5 mins walk to the venue from the station.
