Posh, chic, youthful, and exclusive are the words that most spring to mind when you walk into the lobby of The Modern Honolulu. The rooms are minimalist style with lots of white and big comfy couches. We love the pool area, where you can relax on a shaded daybed and listen to live music.
The downside to this hotel for some guests is that as the hotel is near the marina, it’s over a mile away from the nearest beach. However, the Hawaii Convention Center is very close. This is convenient if you’re heading to Honolulu for Pride weekend, as many events are held there.
