ANGEL Shanghai | The Biggest Gay Dance Party
ANGEL Shanghai is located a little bit far from downtown but you’re about to experience one of the largest gay dance clubs in Shanghai.
Music: HEAVEN parties tend to feature international DJs from across Asia (and occasionally further afield) playing techno and EDM.
Crowd: The biggest crowds of gay men you are likely to see in Shanghai, with guys from throughout Asia coming to attend some of the larger events.
Dress: Casual (shorts are ok), but feel free to dress up a bit if you want to. Certain parties may have specific themed dress codes, so check ahead. Chances are you’ll be taking your shirt off anyway.
How to get there
HEAVEN parties vary in location, but due to their size, they tend to take place in large event venues outside the city center. Parties usually start later in the night, so you can start off with drinks in town before heading out.
Taxi: Given most parties tend to be out of the way, a taxi is your best bet for getting to and from them. Most parties happen in large, well-established venues so your taxi driver will probably know what you mean – although have the name written down in Chinese just in case. 四川北路863号北外滩中兴广场302室 (LG CLUB, on Level 3, CITIC Square North Bund, 863 North Sichuan Rd., Hongkou District).
Metro: Sichuan North Road Station on Exit 3 and only about 5 minutes walk from LG Club where ANGEL Shanghai hosts the biggest gay dance weekend.
