Gay Hotel Koh Samet

Koh Samet’s gay parties take place during the weekends and especially on Thai national holidays when Bangkok’s trendy gays travel to the beach for a weekend of sun!

Tub Tim is the hotel of choice (which books up months before Thai holidays) and Silver Sands is the number one club on this island. Make sure to be on Tub Tim beach around 4 pm to check out all the guys.

Outside of long weekends, Koh Samet is a relaxed tropical island. Enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful national park island.

Koh Samet is the most popular island for local Thai gays to visit. As such it would be hard to find anywhere in Asia more gay friendly. Almost all hotels in Thailand can be described as gay-friendly. It would be highly uncommon for a hotel or guesthouse to make any an issue of a gay couple checking in.

Most gay visitors stay within walking distance to Tubtim beach and Silver Sands club on Ao Phai beach.

The easiest way to describe Pudsa is Tubtim’s Resorts cheaper, lazier brother. The resort’s position is perfect, beachfront right on Tubtim beach and equally close to the nightlife. However, the resort needs a complete renovation, this time with the help of a designer and landscape gardener. Garden bungalows in both fan or AC are basic but they do work. If traveling on a budget or the other resorts are full, then Pudsa is a great backup for a short weekend break.
