Friedrichshain – East Berlin is the alternative gay Berlin you always imagined. From indie boutiques and hipsters antique markets to Berlin’s infamous techno clubs like the Berghain. For gays looking to party Friedrichshain is a great base for a hotel, walk home from the biggest gay clubs the city has to offer. Lying to the east of Berlin, Friedrichshain is home to club nights – Lab-oratory @ Berghain, Die Busche, Chantals House of Shamem, Suicide Circus and cruise bar Große Freiheit 114.
