The Tama Hotel

The Tama Hotel is sleek and stylish, looking more like a modern urban hotel than your usual tropical resort fare. The interiors are distinctly contemporary, all clean lines and tasteful blend of color. Outside, you’ll find all the features you would want from a Krabi resort: a large swimming pool, killer views, and well-kept greenery.
The rooms come in Deluxe and Superior, with the latter being larger. All rooms feature a balcony and floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows that make the most of the surrounding mountains and mangrove forests.

The facilities are all excellent, including a saltwater swimming pool with a whirlpool and a very good gym. That said, the WiFi can be spotty at times and it is worth noting that no alcohol is served on the resort.

The Tama Hotel is located near Ao Nam Mao, a quiet and peaceful area between Ao Nang and Krabi town. Both are just a 15-minute drive from the hotel, and a free shuttle service is provided for making the trip. There is not a beach in the surrounding area – it is a primarily Muslim and fairly traditional part of Krabi – Ao Nam Mao pier does provide regular longtail boat services to Railay.
