Phoenix’s are known for rising from the ashes, and that’s how this bar got its name. When ‘The Bar’ burnt down, it was reopened as Phoenix. What was once a go-go bar was transformed into the East Village’s trendiest gay bar, serving the young and beautiful in the area.
On Mondays and Tuesdays, guests pick the music from the jukebox. Wednesday nights are karaoke nights. Thursdays are Drag Race viewing followed by trivia. Fridays are the DJ dance parties, and Saturday night is drag night.
The Phoenix is open every day from 3 pm to 4 am.
