The Basement Club, rebranded from Club Black Hole in June 2022, is Barcelona’s largest gay cruise and fetish club. It’s located in a basement space in El Born, Barcelona’s bohemian district, just over 1 km east of the Eixample gayborhood. It caters to mature crowds (30+) with slings, glory holes, cabins and dark rooms. The vibe is discreet cruising with industrial-chic aesthetics. There’s a strict dress code: leather, rubber, underwear, or naked, no casual streetwear or brand-heavy clothing allowed.
The Basement Club is open four nights a week, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5 pm until 11 pm. It’s gay men only Tuesdays to Saturdays and mixed on Sundays. It’s a cash-only venue.
