The 3 Ducks is a friendly boutique hostel, featuring cool creative design in a historic Parisian building. It is the oldest private hostel in Paris, meaning it has decades of experience in helping budget travelers enjoy the city, but a 2014 renovation has allowed it to stay fresh and current.

The dorms are comfortable and quite large, with 4, 6, and 8-bed options available. You can book an entire private dorm for you and your friends. All dorm beds come with individual plugs, USB ports, reading lights, and safety lockers. There are a few private rooms, all of which are comfortable and affordable for couples.

Both the bar and outside patio are great places to mingle and swap stories with other travelers. There is a free breakfast offered every morning, which despite being basic is still to be appreciated in a pricey city like Paris.

The 3 Ducks is located just 10 minutes away from the Eiffel Tower. This is slightly far away from most of the other Paris highlights, but super close access to Metro line 8 makes it easy for you to reach the more central areas, including the Marais gay neighborhood. There is a great Thai-themed gay sauna just 5 minutes away from the hostel.
