Sunset Destination Hostel

Sunset Destination Hostel has an excellent location just opposite the waterfront and inside the Cais do Sodre metro station building. This makes it very easy to walk to areas like Baixa, Chiado, and Bairro Alto, while having a convenient public transport connection to places like Parque das Nações, Belem, Alfama, and the beaches in Cascais (including the gay nude Beach 19)

The location also makes for an awesome rooftop pool terrace, with great views over the Tegus and a laid-back party atmosphere in the summer. This is by far the biggest draw, but this is also a great hostel in every other way. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the dorm beds are cool and bespoke, and the communal areas make it easy to make friends. Free sangria during happy hour is just the icing on the cake.

There are also private rooms available, including a Family Room which sleeps 4, ideal for groups of friends. You can choose between private and shared bathroom for most private rooms.
