Louren Apartments is located in a quiet corner of Vinohrady, close to the major gay bars and clubs. A 15-minute walk will get you to gay spots like Club TerMAX, TerMIX, Empire Bar, and Factory Club. Piano Bar, a longstanding and beloved gay Prague institution popular with locals, is just five minutes away. It’s a long-ish walk to the city center, but there’s a metro station close to the apartments (Jiřího z Poděbrad, Line A) that connects directly to the Old Town.
The apartments has both rooms and apartments. Some of the rooms are more old-fashioned than others, but all are well-appointed. The apartments are modern and bright, especially the top-floor duplexes. They come with a fully-equipped kitchen including a stove, oven, toaster, and dishwasher, so you can really cook home-style meals in them.
If you don’t feel like cooking in the mornings, that’s ok too. Breakfast is included in all room rates and is both delicious and varied.
