Hotel Century Old Town Prague is part of the MGallery collection, Sofitel’s range of historic boutique hotels. The building is a 19th-century Neo-Baroque masterpiece, while the interiors have been stylishly designed in a contemporary, cutting-edge style.
All the rooms have been recently renovated and decorated with a blend of metallic and neutral tones. They all feature large windows, heavenly Sofitel MyBed bedding, and Lanvin toiletries, as well as the usual amenities. Executive rooms are larger and have a fold-out sofa for a third person.
The hotel restaurant is beautifully decorated in lush greens and serves great international food. There is a decently appointed gym with cardio equipment and free weights. The overall experience of the hotel is heightened by the incredibly friendly and helpful staff, who go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome.
Hotel Century Old Town Prague is located where the Old Town meets Karlin, 10 minutes from the Old Town Square. Náměstí Republiky (Line B) metro station is just across the street from the hotel. Along with the trams, this provides an easy connection to Prague gay nightlife throughout the city. A few gay bars are within walking distance, as are Sauna David and Sauna Labyrint in Karlin.
