Part of the popular Generator chain of European hostels, this is a cool and stylish accommodation option for those who like to party and mingle with other travelers. The hostel is set across 7 floors (there is an elevator!) in a renovated 19th-century townhouse, and the design is more elegant and grown-up than what you usually get in hostels.
Both private and dorm accommodation is available. The dorms sleep up to six people and have individual storage lockers. You can also book a 4-person dorm-style room just for you and your friends. Amenities like towels are charged extra and are on the pricier side (5€ towel rental), so bring your own.
The downstairs bar is gorgeous and has a lively vibe in the evenings. It’s very much a party hostel, so bear that in mind if you plan on getting a lot of sleep. When the morning comes, start your day in their lovely cafe.
This gay-friendly hostel is located close to Termini station, which is great for rail-traveling backpackers and airport transfers. The Colosseum and its gay nightlife are just a 20-minute walk from the hostel.
