The Fairmont Royal York Hotel is in downtown Toronto across the road from Union Station, the city's transport hub. It remains in its original 1929 building and is a Toronto city landmark. Either of the gayborhoods can be found 2km north or west of the property.
The 50-foot-long swimming pool is indoors on the mezzanine level, but it has a skylight that brings natural sunlight into the area. The 24-hour fitness center is on the same floor. Clockwork, the champagne and cocktails bar in the lobby, also serves traditional afternoon tea on the weekends.
The Fairmont Royal Toronto is a massive property with just under 1,400 rooms. They all blend timeless elegance with modern comforts and the most up-to-date technology. We recommend upgrading to the Fairmont Gold rooms to take advantage of the 18th-floor executive lounge. Dogs and cats are welcome in most guest rooms.
