East Hotel

This is a simple, unpretentious gay-friendly hotel located in the heart of downtown Yangon. It offers clean, comfortable rooms with basic decor, some with good city views. The Junior Suite is an excellent option, offering plenty of space as well as an in-room tub overlooking a city view window. It's worth noting that the bathrooms don't offer a lot of privacy, which can be awkward if you are not a couple. There is a cafe restaurant downstairs, and breakfast is good value.
