Club Bath is proudly calls itself the “oldest gay bathhouse in Manila” after opening in 1977. Located in Pasay City, only 10 minutes walk from Libertad Railway Station, it’s a convenient sauna to travel to. This popular gay sauna has 3 floors offers a small gym, steam room, darkroom, and private cabins for hire. Club Bath is especially popular with older men and it gets busy on weeknights after 7 pm.
Like all gay saunas in Manila, Club Bath and gay sauna is a private members club, and always make sure to bring ID.
Club Bath has no gimmicks, no special promo nights, no shows and productions unlike the other bathhouses — it’s just a plain jane bathhouse.
Crowd: You can find a range of local guys in Club Bath Manila, although it is favored by older types of men.
One thing we like about Club Bath is that they pipe in continuous house music from some radio station. The music is actually good enough to dance to, though you won’t see anyone actually dancing since everyone is in their towels and dancing would look decidedly out of place.
Entry: Like all saunas in Manila, Club Bath is a private members club. You must join before entering, anybody over 18 can join with membership costing P250 ($5 USD). Make sure to bring your ID, such as a driver’s license or passport. Lockers start at P200 ($4 USD).
Club Bath Gay Sauna is on the corner of Valhalla St. and FB Harrison Blvd. Look for the white building on the corner of these streets. There is no sign outside the building, look for the number 2456.
Taxi: Located on the corner of Valhalla St. and FB Harrison Blvd, the sauna should not be too difficult to find. The sauna is next to the US Embassy Seafront Compound, a nearby taxi landmark.
Train: The nearest train station is Libertad Railway Station on the LRT Line 1. Club bath sauna is a 10-minute walk from the train station.
