Candy Darling at the north-east of the Eixample gayborhood, opposite Barcalona University is a queer art-driven bar named after Andy Warhol’s trans icon of the same name. The venue blends activism, art, and nightlife. Its spacious layout includes a mini disco (the Wild Room) and queer-themed art installations, creating a safe space for gay patrons. Themed food, like“Bikini Darling” toasties, adds a playful, underground edge. There are nightly drag and burlesque shows, and the crowd has an activist vibe.
Candy Darling opens at 7 pm every night, and closes at 2.30 am weeknights and 3 am on weekends.
