Gay travelers seeking a more urban retreat rather than a beachfront should consider Layla Tulum. It’s an upscale adults-only property in the heart of Tulum town, with easy access to the Mayan archaeological sites. The entire hotel is decorated in Riad style, bringing the Middle East to Mexico.
