Gay’s looking for something a little less polished than the Eixample venues should head to La Casa de la Pradera in El Raval, just south of the gayborhood. Its no-frills decor and €1.20 draft beers make it a budget-friendly hub for pre-party drinks or casual socializing. There aren’t any shows or events here, it’s just an excellent place to hang out and make new friends. The outdoor terrace is perfect for people watching, and the inside bar becomes a dance floor on Fridays and Saturday nights.
La Casa de la Pradera is open Thursdays to Saturdays from 7 pm until 2–3 am and Sundays from 5.30 pm until 11.30 pm. The dancing begins at 11.30 pm Fon ridays and Saturdays.
