A Classic Gay Dance Bar

El Cangrejo Eixample is in the gayborhood on Carrer de Villarroel. It’s a small venue with a nautical/sailor theme (gold crab decor) and the feel is electric energy. It’s a fun, slightly campy vibe, with music from the 70s and 80s; don’t be surprised to hear people singing-along from the dance floor. It gets a really mixed crowd from twinks to beardy Catalans.

El Cangrejo Eixample is open Friday and Saturday nights from 10.45 pm until 3 am. Get there early as the dance floor gets packed by 1 am.
