Initially built in 1865 as a gold-rush boarding house, the Grove Inn took advantage of the Covid-19 pandemic to close and completely refurbish it. The new look has a modern feel while remaining a tribute to its Italianate-Victorian Style.
It’s located in Alamo Square, one block from the famous ‘Painted Ladies’ tourist attraction, and it’s one of the closest properties to the Castro gayborhood, one mile away.
As a budget property, it doesn’t have facilities like a pool or fitness center. Restaurants and bars are only three blocks away.
