Situated on West 8th Street in Downtown LA, Freehand Los Angeles is in the heart of the up-and-coming ‘new’ gay district. It’s housed in the historic Commercial Exchange building. The design team, Roman & Williams, are responsible for the hotel's overall concept.

The rooftop pool has stunning city skyline views. Broken Shaker on the pool deck offers a selection of handcrafted cocktails and savory snacks. The Exchange restaurant serves up multi-cultural flavors of urban LA through an Israeli lens.

There’s a broad selection of rooms; all have large windows with city views. There are standard rooms, suites, and even six and eight-bed dorm rooms for those traveling in a group or shared ones for solos looking to meet new people.
