Designer Bill Bensley salvaged heritage rail cars from around Thailand to create 19 suites and villas that pay homage to the glory days of train travel. Each room celebrates a classic destination with Thai silk decoration, ornate panelling and wallpapers that give off an illusion of motion. Some rooms even emulate Agatha Christie’s “Murder on the Orient Express.” Moreover, there are pool villas with one- and two-bedroom configurations ranging from 1,250 to 2,400 square feet.

Facilities

The Poirot restaurant in the upcycled rail car serves a French-themed menu featuring classic dishes such as French onion soup with Gruyere cheese and boeuf bourguignon. Moreover, cocktails can be shaken at the tableside in Papillon Bar while two pool areas are available for a dip. To top it off, Back on Track spa offers an array of traditional Thai treatments so guests can enjoy a memorable luxury vacation experience.
