Location

Central, waterfront, and an only 10-minute walk to the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. The hotel is set along the heritage Finger Wharf in Sydney Harbour, giving many of the rooms impressive waterfront views. Sitting next to the hotel are the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens. As for LGBT nightlife and attractions, Sydney’s main gay nightlife is easily reachable, located along Oxford Street about 1.8km, 25 min if you are keen to walk or just 5-10 minute in a taxi.

Style & Design

Built in a historic 100-year-old building, the hotel is surprisingly light and playful. As you enter the hotel, high ceilings and exposed metal beams reveal the building’s industrial past, but the new design has opened up the space. Fresh pastel colors, fairy-light lit indoor trees, combined with a pool table and novelty video games create Ovolo’s signature atmosphere. Ovolo group operates four hotels in Hong Kong and six hotels in Australia. Each very much individually designed properties but all have managed to incorporate Ovolo’s unique approach. The group stands out due to its award-winning interiors, and consistent focus on all-inclusive services.

The facilities at Ovolo Woolloomooloo are nothing short of excellent. The hotel’s Lo Lounge offers a multipurpose social area, open 24 hours with all-day nibbles and drinks available to guests. Each of the 100 rooms in the hotel comes with a free mini bar topped up daily. Free WiFi is available across the hotel as well as free self-service laundry. Inside the private rooms and loft suites are iPads, AppleTVs, and genuinely luxurious bedding.
