Villa Samadhi feels like a remote island resort, which is particularly impressive given its location in central Kuala Lumpur. It is made up of 21 villas, each inspired by traditional Malay design and featuring design elements hand-crafted by Malay artisans using local materials. They are all extremely spacious, with a fully-equipped kitchen and separate living area. Some have whirlpools or plunge pools, and all have direct access to the hotel's freeform central lagoon. Food made from sustainable local ingredients is served at the all-day dining room, all of it excellent. Villa Samadhi is a perfect boutique option for a luxury gay hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
