The Half Moon Festival on Koh Phangan offers a 2nd unique party. Taking place in the island’s tropical forest, marking the lunar calendar’s half-moon phase. The party happens every two weeks – one week before the Full Moon Party and one week after. Taking place over two days at two locations: first at Harmony Beach Club in Baan Tai, followed by a 2nd night in the forest, which is transformed into a vibrant festival ground.
There are no explicitly gay party organisers in Koh Phangan; the main parties on the island are Full Moon and Half Moon celebrations.
