Sydney Gay Lesbian Mardi Gras Party & Parade 2017

An explosion of color, skin and fun!

It’s one of the world’s most famous Mardi Gras celebrations, Sydney Pride, take place from 17 February to 5 March 2017. Highlighting the enormous event event is the 4th March Parade, taking over the city center. The event brings together a huge range of festivities including sports, theatre and performance, visual arts, talks and forums, a huge picnic in the park, spectacular parties and the highlight being the world-famous parade. Party wise, the whole two weeks are packed but it’s fair to say the biggest nights are the weekend of the Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th March. Pool Party on 27th February and the main event takes place on Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th for Parade & Mardi Gras Party which has over 12,000 partygoers attending, making it one of the world’s biggest LGBTQI celebrations. Note, as of February 2017, most of the events are nearly sold out.
